Goal and Contents
The goal of the lecture is to provide a more extended knowlegde of
algorithms and data structures, building up from the level reached
after an introductory course. Main topics are:

Some mathematics
-
Numerical algorithms
-
Refined data structures for dictionaries and priority queues
-
Approaches to solving problems
-
Graph algorithms
With this intelectual luggage the student should be able to tackle
complex problems alone and to access further going litterature if
necessary.
